The team at Redpack Packaging Machinery have been hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff at the Bowthorpe factory on the outskirts of Norwich have been busy baking and then partaking of the wonderful fayre on offer. The 75 onsite team members know that the donations from Coffee Mornings make a vital difference and will help Macmillan with their incredible work.
With an array of sweet and savoury delicacies along with coffee, every cup counts and will support Macmillan in doing whatever it takes to help people living with cancer live life as fully as they can.
“It’s really very important for us to support the event” commented Stuart Briston, Redpack’s Managing Director. “Many of the staff have been touched by cancer in various ways and we are delighted to match every pound donated to the great work of Macmillan Cancer Support. I wish to thank everyone who has supported the event with cakes and donations”
The event raised £375.21 with the company matching the figure to give a grand total of £750.42.
The name Redpack Packaging Machinery was established in 1977 and the brand subsequently acquired by the Briston family in 1997. They now supply flow wrappers globally from their latest headquarters in Bowthorpe.
